Genuine Dell OEM Keyboard MCU Ribbon Cable for the Alienware x17 systems with the optional mechanical Cherry MX keyboard. This cable connects the MCU junction board that is mounted to the underside of the palmrest to the motherboard, sometimes referred to as the Keyboard Controller Cable.
The x17 systems were offered with different keyboard options- this cable is specifically for systems that have the optional mechanical keyboard (Cherry MX), it is NOT compatible with the standard RGB per key keyboard .
