MagSafe 2 and MagSafe 3 are both magnetic charging connectors for MacBook laptops, but MagSafe 3 is slimmer and supports faster charging compared to MagSafe 2. MagSafe 3 is used in newer MacBook models (from 2021 onward), while MagSafe 2 is found in older models (2012–2017). The connectors are not physically compatible with each other.
