DDR4 RAM is not being immediately discontinued, but it is gradually being phased out as DDR5 becomes the new standard for newer motherboards and processors. While DDR4 is still widely available and supported, especially for older systems, manufacturers are shifting focus to DDR5 production. Over time, DDR4 availability may decrease as the industry transitions to newer technologies.
