A 500W power supply is generally not recommended for running an NVIDIA RTX 3080, as the card alone can consume up to 320W under load, leaving little headroom for the rest of your system. NVIDIA recommends at least a 750W power supply for stable and reliable performance. Using a lower wattage PSU could lead to system instability or shutdowns.
