DDR4 is not officially end-of-life yet, but it is gradually being replaced by DDR5 in new computers and servers. Major manufacturers are shifting focus to DDR5, so DDR4 production and support may decrease over the next few years. However, DDR4 will still be available and supported for existing systems for some time.
