To check your HP laptop’s battery capacity, press **Windows + X** and select **Windows PowerShell (Admin)** or **Command Prompt (Admin)**, then type `powercfg /batteryreport` and press Enter. The generated report (`battery-report.html`) will be saved in your user folder; open it to view the battery's design and full charge capacities.
