To show the battery percentage on a ThinkPad, right-click on the battery icon in the system tray and select "Battery settings" or "Power options." In the settings menu, look for an option to display the battery percentage on the taskbar and toggle it on. If you're using Windows 10 or 11, you can also go to "Settings" > "System" > "Power & battery" to adjust the settings for battery percentage display.
